Jean-Claude Perret « Koko Harp » - FRANCE

Jean-Claude Perret, aka « KOKO HARP », is an autodidact Blues, Folk-Blues and Rock harmonica player.  He discovered Blues music, his favourite register by listening to SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON, LITTLE WALTER, and many others’ vynils.

He started on stage in the beginning of the 80’s and his first steps with harmonica were on!

In April 2015, FABULOUS KOKO BLUES was born and now, he is currently working on other projects for 2017.

Among the bands which has punctuated his musical path, we can quote LIKE WOLF, GG GIBSON, EASY MONEY, MAGIC BAND, RAILROAD BAND, JEAN MAURICE DRIANT, CADILLAC JONES, JOHNNY G (UK), Dr MO, TRACTION (UK), FOUED, ISA AME, ERIC SEVRY, and currently MISTER JONES & THE WILD DOGS, since 2014 with JACK PARKER. On a few dates, he also joined JOEL DAYDE (ZOO) and MIKE BROSNAN (NZ).

Morever, he took part in many festivals : BAGNOLS BLUES (2003,2004,2014), SATHONAY BLUES FESTIVAL (2005), PAJOT BLUES FESTIVAL (2005) in Belgium, BLAST BLUES (2005) in Netherlands, and in France : NUIT DU BLUES in Ombleze with ALAN JACK and BILL THOMAS, NUIT DU BLUES at the Train Theatre in Portes les Valence with MARVELLOUS PIG NOISE and HANS OLSON. And at the Blues Festival of Valence (2014), he played the first parts of Dr FEELGOOD, ELLIOTT MURPHY, PATRICK VERBEKE, BERNARD ALLISON, RAOUL PETITE, CANDIE KANE, GERRY JOE WEISE, STAN WEBB & CHICKEN SHACK, LITTLE BOB, SHAKE YOUR HIPS, ALAIN GIROUX & JEAN MARC HENAUX.

In September 2016, with his band FABULOUS KOKO BLUES, he played at the Festival CHOM' BLUES, at Chomélix - France, with LITTLE BOB BLUES BASTARDS as headlining.

He hopes to still meet his own public at crossroads, thus, the Blues will make you thrill for a good long time.
